Today, I recieved a refund check for a Coupon certificate I ended up not participating in, I got my $9.95 back and I putting this as the first pennies in the saving bank... Sigh - feels good already!
When you buy generic or store brands then compare the difference in the price and add that to your honeymoon jar.
I shopped at thrift stores and yard sales for Joel's toys and clothes when he was a little guy. Perhaps if you buy second hand you can look up how much it cost new and jar that too.
Anytime you do something a little extra for others, give yourself a quarter too! :)
